Position Title: Database Admin/Analyst
Reports To:   Deputy Director - Data, Insights & Strategy (or Designate) (Based in Hong Kong)


PURPOSE and SCOPE OF THE JOB                   
 
The Database administrator/analyst will be involved in maintaining the accuracy and quality of supporter database and data-entry of the supporter’s details, along with providing an understanding of supporter behavior through analysis of data. 
                               
The Database Administrator/Analyst should ensure timely processing of organizational income and take care of administrative responsibilities (e.g. sending and tracking of donor pledges/ letters, annual receipts, dealing with bounce backs from mailing programmes, etc.).     
                          
This position will also work closely Retention team in handling Appeal record data cleansing coordinating with the in house tele-callers, helping in organizing donor gatherings, sending out news-letters etc. The role will also have responsibility for providing analysis of supporter activity to support the work of the Fundraising & Engagement team through providing audience understanding, segmentation and insights.      
             
The Database Administrator will take the primary lead in maintaining accurate supporter information including financial, mailing list data and e-mail lists.                                                     
S/he will also work under the CRM, Systems and Reporting Manager to implement systems and process improvements to Greenpeace supporter and donor systems that will maximize financial return along with performing the administrative work (e.g. sending pledge/ letters, etc, etc.).
                                                                                   
The role will contribute to the understanding of supporter behavior by providing analysis of data to inform segmentation, testing and communication strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform regular analysis of data stored in the CRM system to inform fundraising and engagement activity
  • Maintaining and segmenting our database and set up and maintain data segments to enable tailored communication approaches to be achieved
  • Provide reporting to colleagues in the Fundraising & Engagement team
  • Responsible for monthly donation payment processing. Arrange and follow up back approval on direct debit requests and help fulfill other transaction including online, cheque, cash, or any other payment method
  • Work with Line Manager on each transaction to ensure all bank documents are in line with the actual transaction
  • Produce report and data for all rejects on payment by mail and phone calls
  • Perform a timely update on the database after each transaction
  • Support FR&E colleagues with data support for the handling phone calls, coordinating with the in house tele callers, helping in organizing Supporters gathering, sending annual receipts, newsletters etc
  • Work under the direction of the CRM, Systems & Reporting Manager in capturing data according to agreed practices
  • Maintain all communication/transaction details in the database
  • Work with Line Manager on each transaction to ensure all bank documents are in line with the actual transaction
                
 REQUIREMENTS
• 학력:  대졸이상 (통계학 전공 필수) Secondary/Bachelor\'s degree in computer science and information technology preferred
• 경릭: 데이타베이스 관련 업무 최소 3년 - 6년 이하의 경력자 (minimum 3 to 6 years of previous experience working with databases)
• 분석력이 뛰어난 자 (Experience in data analysis and the use of various tools to achieve this)
• MS오피스와 마이크로소프트 능력자 (Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including MS Excel)
• MS SQL 2000/2005, MS Access 2000/2003 활용 필수, VBA 가능자 우대 (Experience with MS SQL 2000/2005, MS Access 2000/2003 and VBA an asset)
• 뛰어난 조직능력을 갖춘 자 (Excellent organizational skills)
• 영어 가능자 (Fluent written and spoken English)
• 뛰어난 시간관리 능력
• Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
